Jeremy is a seasoned attorney whose 20-year practice is a hybrid of complex litigation and healthcare compliance, which he calls "litigation prevention." Jeremy represents healthcare providers in a wide range of litigation matters and disputes, including False Claims Act lawsuits and government investigations, state licensure board investigations and enforcement actions, government or private payor audit and recoupment actions, medical staff matters, practice dissolutions, and commercial disputes. Jeremy also regularly advises healthcare providers in regulatory compliance matters and has served as outside counsel to providers’ internal compliance committees.

In addition, Jeremy works with group health plan sponsors to comply with the requirements of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) and to respond to audits of the quantitative and non-quantitative treatment limitations (NQTLs) within their plans. As a former practicing psychologist, Jeremy has a unique legal and clinical comprehension of mental health services and payment models.

Jeremy also makes time to represent pro bono clients and to be the editor of the firm's wellness newsletter.
