Kerry Valdez focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on private equity, M&A, bet-the-company, and shareholder litigation. Kerry also has experience representing clients in both federal and state courts with insurance and legal malpractice defense. In addition she has notable appellate experience, having drafted a successful brief that prevailed before the Fourth District Court of Appeal.

During her tenure as a judicial clerk in both state and federal courts, Kerry gained valuable experience by drafting comprehensive bench memoranda and opinions for judicial appellate panels and orders and recommendations on case disposition in federal district court. Additionally, she assisted judges in preparing for both civil and criminal hearings and trials, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of judicial proceedings.
