Kiki Scarff focuses her practice on investment management matters with an emphasis on investment adviser regulation. She represents institutional and retail investment advisers with formation and registration on Form ADV with the SEC and state securities authorities. Kiki also advises investment adviser clients with regard to ongoing business and compliance matters, and she is experienced in advising clients with regard to examination and enforcement-related inquiries and investigations by the SEC, self-regulatory organizations, and state agencies.

In addition to her regulatory experience, Kiki counsels clients on strategic matters related to structuring, forming, and offering private investment vehicles, including hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, venture capital funds, and debt funds, as well as single purpose vehicles. Kiki also regularly works with registered investment companies and their respective boards of trustees with a wide range of other legal issues, including organizational matters, corporate governance matters, disclosure documents, and compliance requirements, among other operational and management issues.
