Marissa Amuial focuses her practice on land use and development, representing clients in all aspects of the development approval process including zoning applications, special area plans (SAPs), historic preservation matters, and other administrative and quasi-judicial hearings. Additionally, Marissa assists clients throughout South Florida in navigating public/private incentive agreements and in drafting land use development regulations.

Miami Design District:
Represented Miami Design District Associates in the development of an unprecedented one million square foot retail, residential, and arts district. Handled related land use and governmental approvals under the Design District Special Area Plan.
Faena District:
Assisted in representation of Faena Group in the approval process for a mixed-use oceanfront development, including hotels, condominium apartments, retail, restaurants, and underground parking.
City of Miami Zoning Approvals:
Represented several developers on successful approvals of projects before the Urban Development Review Board and the Wynwood Design Review Committee.
City of Miami Beach:
Assisted in the representation of developers with approvals before the Historic Preservation Board, Design Review Board, and Board of Adjustments.
Sunny Isles:
Assisted in the representation of a developer in securing site plan approval before the city commission.
Aventura:
Assisted in the representation of developers in obtaining an amendment to land use development regulations, and site plan and variance approvals.
