Michael Borovik draws on his more than 20 years of practical energy and sustainability experience to advise leaders and teams through major business initiatives and economic evaluation matters. Michael's clients include energy suppliers, municipalities, universities, and businesses. He also collaborates with utility businesses/affiliates, state commissions, and consumer advocates on regulatory compliance matters, including commission statutes and cases, rules, and orders for renewable transactional energy projects.

Prior to joining Akerman, Michael represented some of the largest corporations and affiliates in the United States and worldwide, as well as major municipalities and institutions of higher learning on transactional, regulatory, and policy matters. His work included contract drafting and negotiations and successful representation before State Commissions.
