Michael Fulks is an experienced transactional attorney with a wide-ranging corporate practice. Described as a “rising star” with “an incredible work ethic” in Chambers USA’s Corporate/M&A rankings, Michael counsels entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses of all sizes on key business transactions and day-to-day matters, assisting them with entity selection and formation, capital raising, corporate governance, commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.

Michael frequently represents investment advisers, including private fund managers, on a variety of matters, including fund formations, portfolio company investments, and investment adviser acquisitions. He also maintains a broad venture capital and startup practice, representing both startups and their investors in venture capital financings and other business and securities laws matters.

Michael serves as an adjunct professor at the Wake Forest University School of Law and is a frequent panelist and lecturer on raising capital and corporate law matters.
