Mojan Anari represents employers in high-stakes employment disputes, with a particular focus on complex wage and hour class and representative actions under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). She defends employers in California state and federal courts and in arbitration in matters involving overtime, minimum wage, meal and rest periods, regular rate of pay, wage statements, waiting time penalties, misclassification, and other wage and hour claims.
In addition to her class and representative action practice, Mojan represents employers in single-plaintiff litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims. She also advises employers on employment-law compliance and strategies designed to mitigate litigation risk.
Mojan handles matters from initial investigation through resolution, including discovery, depositions, law and motion, oral argument, mediation, settlement negotiations, arbitration, and trial preparation. Her broader litigation background includes commercial and business disputes, FINRA arbitrations, appellate matters, and trial experience.
Mojan also provides legal services on a pro bono basis to Public Counsel’s Children’s Rights Project for Dependency Adoptions and the Alliance for Children’s Rights.
