Samuel Mann represents financial institutions, corporations, hedge funds, and corporate executives in a wide range of complex litigation and regulatory matters. He has significant experience in federal and state court litigation and arbitration across securities, antitrust, complex commercial, employment, insurance, and non-debtor bankruptcy matters, as well as internal and regulatory investigations, and enforcement actions. Samuel has represented clients before regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the European Securities and Markets Authority.

Samuel also advises corporate clients on litigation and regulatory risks, internal investigations, and anti-corruption due diligence related to corporate transactions. He brings a results-oriented approach that is grounded in understanding both the legal and business needs of clients.

Samuel maintains a commitment to pro bono service, having worked on matters involving veterans’ benefits, domestic violence, and housing. Before joining Akerman, he spent more than twelve years working at national law firms in both New York and Charlotte.
