Stacy Baim uses her engineering background to focus on the protection of intellectual property rights for clients in a wide variety of industries. Her practice encompasses litigation, counseling, and transactions involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and unfair competition.

Stacy litigates matters involving complex and varied technology such as medical devices, video equipment, software, semiconductors, and consumer products. She has appeared in federal courtrooms across the country, as well as assisting clients before the International Trade Commission and United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Stacy also provides counseling and transactional advice. She frequently negotiates licenses and advises on intellectual property issues in corporate transactions. She also works with clients on patent and trademark clearance, intellectual property portfolio management, and business planning.

Prior to private practice, Stacy clerked for Judge James G. Carr in the Northern District of Ohio.
