Akerman will co-host the Utah Franchise Business Network (FBN) Congressional Forum. This event will provide a rare opportunity for Members of Congress to lead and guide an open discussion with franchise business leaders on the policies shaping franchising and small business growth. The forum will focus on the American Franchise Act, highlighting the importance of clear joint-employer standards that protect franchise opportunity, support local ownership, and enable responsible growth. The program will feature brief mini-keynote remarks from Members of Congress, followed by a facilitated discussion and Q&A.
The FBN hosts events to offer industry insights, best practices, and regulatory updates, and provides access to research, legal guidance, and business tools. It advocates for favorable legislation and policies while promoting community involvement and ethical practices.
The cost to attend is $30.00 per person.
