Akerman is proud to host and co-sponsor the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER) Networking Event in Atlanta. Join fellow environmental, energy, and natural resources attorneys, consultants, scientists, students, and industry professionals for an evening of networking, conversation, and community as the Section kicks off a new ABA year. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with Akerman Office Managing Partner Jason Lichtstein, who serves as a SEER committee co-chair and is a member of the planning committee for the ABA SEER 2027 Spring Conference.

Organized by several SEER committees, this special networking event offers an opportunity to connect with SEER leaders and members, learn about the Section's committees and initiatives, and discover meaningful ways to get involved. Whether your interests include writing, speaking, publishing, or helping shape future programs, you'll gain insight into how SEER can support your professional growth and engagement.

Attendees are encouraged to share ideas for future programming, emerging issues, and topics they would like SEER to explore. Your perspectives will help inform the Section's conversations, initiatives, and educational offerings in the year ahead.

The evening will also include a preview of SEER's upcoming Fall Conference, taking place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on October 14-16, 2026, and opportunities to learn more about the Section's plans and priorities for the coming year.
