Akerman’s New York Land Use and Zoning group is a sponsor of Breaking Ground’s Serving Up Home 2024 Tasting Event. More than 300 tastemakers will gather to sample bespoke cocktails, along with creative bites and top-notch entertainment. Featuring a silent auction with exciting items and experiences, all proceeds from the night benefit Breaking Ground’s Drop-In Center in Queens, the only location in that borough providing immediate assistance to people experiencing homelessness on the streets.

Serving Up Home 2024 will raise critical funds to enhance the Queens Drop-In Center, which helps people come indoors off the street, providing a safe and supportive environment while we work with each person toward transitional and permanent housing.
