Akerman is a proud sponsor of the 2023 Annual Party for “Dave’s House” being held at the Orlando Museum of Art. Dave’s House is Central Florida’s leading provider of affordable permanent supportive housing for individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) and co-occurring disabilities. This inspiring event will highlight Dave’s House mission and present Dr. Joel C. Hunter with the first annual Dr. Joel C. Hunter Legacy Award for his dedication to end homelessness and his legacy of humanitarian outreach. The evening will close with a concert sponsored by AdventHealth, featuring Todd Tilghman, winner of The Voice, season 18.
