Akerman Partner Michael Larson will speak on two panels at the 2025 Annual Brownfields Conference, presented by the Florida Brownfields Association (FBA). On September 9, he will moderate the CLE course “Brownfields 101,” which will provide an introduction to the Florida Brownfields Redevelopment Program. He will then present on the “Brownfields & Beyond: 2025 Florida Legislative & Rulemaking Update” panel on September 11.

This panel allows the opportunity to hear from two key participants on new significant changes to the Florida Brownfields statutes and the recent FBA rulemaking petition to update Chapter 62-524, F.A.C., regarding potable water well permitting in delineated areas of contamination.
