Akerman is proud to sponsor the 2026 GABWA Glitter Gala and Auction hosted by the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA) and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys Foundation. This year’s theme is “Empire State of Mind.”

The Glitter Gala and Auction supports scholarships, mentoring programs, and community initiatives that uplift and empower communities across Georgia. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $720,000 in scholarships to deserving Georgia law students and continues to make a meaningful impact through its charitable initiatives. Akerman partner Montoya Ho-Sang serves on the GABWA Foundation Board, supporting the organization’s mission and community impact efforts.
