Akerman is excited to announce that Tax Practice Group Co-chair Peter Larsen and Tax Partner David Rosen will be presenting the Florida Bankers Association's annual Florida Documentary Stamp Tax Seminar. The programs will be held in Akerman's Miami office on November 7, 2024, and its Orlando office the next day, November 8, 2024.

The yearly seminar provides up-to-date information on this important topic for senior loan policy officers, auditors, compliance officers, real estate attorneys, and chief executive officers. All attendees will receive an updated and revised handbook which provides guidance on Florida documentary stamp tax and intangible tax issues in a variety of situations involving extension of credit by lenders and/or secured by property located in Florida.
