Akerman is a proud sponsor of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 15th Annual Labor and Employment Conference. The conference is the ABA's premier CLE and networking event, which will feature plenary session speakers and panelists discussing timely and important topics that are relevant to various areas of practice. 

Amy Moor Gaylord will co-moderate a panel titled, "Meet the National Labor Relations Board." The panel will discuss insights on decisions from the past year, as well as agency initiatives and developments. Genaira Tyce will be a panelist for the First-Time Attendee/New Section Member/Law Student Orientation and will also speak on a panel titled, "Revisiting the Scope of 'Protected' Activity," which will address whether humanitarian or social justice issues should be protected under the NLRA.
