Akerman is a sponsor of the Women Diversity and Change Summit, a conference that provides networking and learning opportunities on topics including self advocacy, unconscious bias, sponsorship, and succeeding in male dominant environments. Andrea Hartley will participate on a panel titled, "Succeeding in Male Dominant Environments," which will discuss the challenges that women in the law industry face in addition to insight into how to create change, effectively self-advocate, and succeed in a male dominated industry.
