Akerman’s Director of Economic Development Service Beth Zafonte will moderate the panel “Building for the Future – Empire State Development Public-Private Partnerships Across New York State” at the New York Women Executives in Real Estate (WX) February Breakfast.

This panel will consist of key stakeholders in Empire State Development's (ESD) historic public-private investments that are reshaping New York’s real estate landscape.  Micron’s $100 billion investment in Upstate New York, the conversion of 5 Times Square into a mixed-use residential complex, and the redevelopment of Creedmoor Psychiatric Center are the transformational developments that will be showcased.  These initiatives address New York’s housing affordability crisis, in addition to ways the state is driving innovation and revitalizing infrastructure.
