This webinar will explore the current legal landscape surrounding genetic privacy in the U.S., including state laws such as the recently enacted California Genetic Information Privacy Act, which regulates direct-to-consumer genetic testing companies.

Panelists will discuss operational challenges and considerations under state, federal, and international legal regimes, including with respect to consent, de-identification, research, and secondary uses of genetic information.
