Chris Duke will speak at the 8th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference, South Florida’s Premier employment law conference hosted by The Seminar Group. Chris’ presentation, “Marijuana and Prescription Medications,” will discuss the recent legalization of medical marijuana in Florida and the growing opioid crisis and how both present employers with unprecedented challenges in the workplace. Topics addressed will include drug screening for applicants, establishing a drug free workplace, medical leave issues, employee privacy rights, and termination for positive testing.
