Tax Practice Group Chair David Blum will speak on current issues in state taxation at this year’s Illinois CPA Society SALT Conference. David will participate in the "Ask the Experts" panel, which will address administrative issues and case law updates and impacts.  

Topics will include the Leveling the Playing Field for Illinois Retailers Occupation Act; recent legislative activity including GILTI, the Finnigan method, pass-through gains, net loss deductions, post-amnesty, investee apportionment, and a potential digital ad tax; and other Chicago-specific issues.
