Elizabeth Hodge and Robert Slavkin will co-present, along with Elizabeth Ruszczyk-White, Vice President, Compliance and Privacy at UF Health Shands, at the Health Care Compliance Association's 19th Annual Compliance Institute. Their presentation, "Managing Your Vendors in the 21st Century: Trust, but Verify," will include tips for ensuring compliance of vendors in areas such as anti-kickback, false claims act issues, HIPAA, as well as EHR meaningful use concerns; methods for shoring up present compliance policies and procedures; and crisis management.
