The first-ever Georgia state-wide Environmental Networking Event, co‑hosted by the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (ABA SEER) and the Emory Environmental Law Society, will take place on April 2, 2026, at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. Jason Lichtstein, Akerman's Atlanta Office Managing Partner, helped launch this new networking event bringing together environmental attorneys, law professors, and environmental law students from across many of the state's law schools to foster mentorship, professional development, and collaboration within the environmental law community. The free event is designed to connect law students interested in environmental law with practitioners from the public sector, private practice, and nonprofit organizations, offering meaningful opportunities for in‑person, one‑on‑one engagement and networking.
