Eric Gordon, Chair of Akerman’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, will speak at the Human Resource Association of Palm Beach County’s workshop. His presentation, “Workplace Harassment and Legalized Marijuana - Today’s New Normal,” will provide an update on workplace harassment, including sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation, what to expect following the #MeToo era, as well as best practices for proactively addressing these issues in the workplace. The presentation will also cover another hot topic in workplace employment law: legalized marijuana - both medical and recreational- and its impact on employers and employees in the workplace.
