Akerman is a sponsor of the 10th Annual Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Conference. Steven Cordero and Kimberly Lopez Narbona, will speak on a panel titled "Navigating the Landmines of the Corporate Representative Deposition: Identifying, Convincing, and Prepping." The panel will share the three steps of preparing a corporate witness for deposition. In addition, Elsa Manzanares will speak on a panel, titled "Tips for Maintaining Private Practice Viability for the In-House Lawyer." The panel will discuss methods and strategies for in-house lawyers to maintain skill sets and networks to facilitate their ability to transition from in-house positions to private practice.
