Today, on Veterans Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces—those among us, and those we remember. To our veterans, I speak for the entire firm in saying we are proud to work alongside you. We are profoundly grateful for your sacrifice, your discipline, and your continued contributions in civilian life.
Military service is a calling that demands everything of a person: courage, integrity, and a willingness to place the common good above self. These are not abstract ideals—they are the foundation of our freedom, our institutions, and the rule of law itself.
We are reminded often that patriotism is not passive, and freedom is never free. Democracy does not sustain itself. It depends on those willing to defend it—on the battlefield, in the courtroom, in the public square, and in the quiet choices we make each day to uphold our shared values.
Let this day be more than remembrance. Let it be a call to responsibility. We honor our veterans not only with words, but by continuing the work they began: protecting the Constitution, strengthening the institutions they swore to defend, and standing for the principles that unite us.
To our veterans: thank you for leading the way. To all of us: may we be worthy of the freedom so many have fought—and continue to fight—to preserve.
