Kirk Davis, Chair of Akerman's Healthcare Practice Group, will be a featured speaker at the Legal Emergencies in Health Care 2018 program, hosted by The Florida Bar and the Health Law Section. For this advanced course, Kirk will present, "Mental Health Emergencies in the Hospital Setting," and will cover the Florida Mental Health Act (Baker Act) and best practices for handling problems in an emergency room.
