Luis A. Perez, Chair of the Akerman's Latin America and the Caribbean Practice, will participate in the upcoming Foro Gerencias Legales Miami 2026. Luis will lead a panel discussion titled “Cuestiones Críticas del Arbitraje: Análisis Integral de la A a la Z,” which will explore key issues and evolving trends in arbitration from a comprehensive perspective.
In 2025, the Legal Management Forum strengthened its regional presence with editions held in Bogotá, Lima, Miami, and Mexico City, bringing together legal leaders, general counsel, and in-house lawyers from across Latin America for high-level strategic discussions. This special edition forum will focus exclusively on arbitration as a key tool for the efficient management of disputes in today’s business environment. The event will convene general counsel, arbitrators, leading law firms, and representatives from arbitration centers for a peer-to-peer dialogue on current challenges and opportunities in dispute management and arbitration across Latin America and international markets.
To mark the opening of the forum, Akerman will host a welcome cocktail reception on March 26 at the Akerman's Miami office, bringing together participants and colleagues from across the region to connect and exchange insights.
