Michael Kelly will speak on a panel titled “How Three High-Profile Federal Prosecutions Ended in Defense Victories: The Inside Story of U.S. v. Morgan, U.S. v. Sadr, and U.S. v. Peavler,” hosted by Akerman LLP, Steptoe LLP, White & Case LLP, and the D.C. Bar Criminal Law and Individual Rights Community White-Collar Crime Subcommittee. Michael will be presenting with Joel Cohen of White & Case LLP and Nicholas Silverman of Steptoe LLP.

The panel will examine three recent high-profile defeats for the Department of Justice following discovery failures. The goal is to provide the inside story of how these cases unfolded and to discuss whether any long-term conclusions can be drawn from them.
