Montoya Ho-Sang will speak on a panel titled, "Student Affairs Litigation Review and Lessons Learned" at the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) Annual Conference. The panel will cover a number of timely topics from recent litigation and offer practical advice for lessons learned from those cases, including: 

• Student conduct litigation, including cases involving student hazing and student deaths
• Tuition refund class actions and lessons learned for the post-COVID shift to online teaching
• Access to student records: FERPA vs. FOIA
• First Amendment and student speech
• Student accommodations, including mental health accommodations
• Trans rights on campus
