Philip Touitou will speak on a webinar titled, "An Ethical Exploration of the Three R's: Attorney Ratings, Rankings and Review," sponsored by the Law Practice Management Committee and the Committee on Continuing Legal Education of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). The webinar will discuss the ethical questions and trustworthiness of services such as Martindale and Best Lawyers, along with numerous internet offshoots. Topics will include: the legitimate, improper, and gray areas that exist in the marketplace; how accolades can be ethically utilized; and the “methodologies” surrounding lawyer ratings and rankings.
