Akerman State and Local Tax Practice Chair Stefi George will present a panel at the upcoming Advanced Income Tax Seminar hosted by the American Bar Association and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. Stefi’s panel, “How Gross Is It? Issues in Computing ‘Gross Receipts’ for Sales Factor Purposes,” will discuss recent cases addressing the complexities of defining gross receipts for state income tax purposes, and differing state approaches to specific transactions for sales factor purposes.
