Akerman Senterfitt will partner with American Lawyer Media (ALM), publisher of The American Lawyer, Corporate Counsel, Focus Latin America, and the Daily Business Review, to present the inaugural U.S. Latin America Legal Summit. Attendees will include senior executives from across the Americas including general counsel and compliance officers from Fortune 500 and Latin 500 companies, as well as business owners and other key stakeholders navigating the recent increase in cross-border activity in the region.

Luis A. Perez is serving as chair of the summit. Luis O’Naghten is moderating a panel titled "Perfect Proximity: Miami as a Center for Commercial Disputes Involving Latin America." Panelists include Angélica Nuñez Anico of Stream/Repsol-Gas Natural LNG, Josefa Sicard Mirabal of ICC International Court of Arbitration, and Leidylin Contreras, of the Office of the Legal Counsel to the President, Dominican Republic.
