Top 100 U.S. law firm Akerman LLP is pleased to announce that it has successfully represented ENY Community Residences LLC, in the rezoning of 749 Van Sinderen Avenue in Brooklyn, New York for the development of a new 9-story mixed-use building.  Once complete, the property will feature approximately 119 affordable housing units, ground floor retail and community facilities, totaling 102,163 square feet.

Akerman served as land use and zoning counsel, helping secure the unanimous approval of the New York City Council and the establishment of a Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (MIH) Area. The project is expected to be completed in 2024.
