Akerman’s New York Land Use and Zoning Group launched its first seminar series relating to the Gowanus Neighborhood Plan and what it means for the transformation of this community’s future development. The program focused on the history of the Gowanus neighborhood, located in Brooklyn, its environmental contamination and current remediation efforts, the goals of the Gowanus neighborhood rezoning, the proposed land use and zoning changes, public review updates, and more.
