Akerman’s Higher Education and Collegiate Athletics Practice will be hosting a one-day comprehensive, virtual seminar and will navigate the new U.S. Department of Education Title IX Regulations and how they impact operations and compliance. The presenters will provide guidance and training to help you craft institutional game plans to achieve compliance. The cross practice team of experienced lawyers will discuss best practices to enable colleges and universities to clearly identify necessary changes to existing policies and procedures, organizational structure, and campus culture under the new Title IX rules. Akerman's team will walk through how those changes will play out and advise on how to handle grey-area issues not explicitly covered by the new regulations.
