The Labor & Employment Practice Group will present a collaborative roundtable discussion for in-house counsel on the use of arbitration agreements in the workplace. During this roundtable, Matthew Steinberg and Samantha Abeysekera will facilitate discussions on recent arbitration-related developments, including Second Circuit case law enforcing class/collective action waivers; enforceability of class/collective action waivers under the NLRA; "Pros" and "Cons" of arbitration in general; and transitioning existing workforces to arbitration agreements. The roundtable format will allow for a peer-to-peer exchange of ideas and solutions surrounding recurring trends, strategies, and issues that affect employers.
