Akerman is a proud sponsor of the Women's Breakfast at the American Bar Association's (ABA) Committee on the Development of the Law Under the National Labor Relations Act 2022 Midwinter Meeting. Amy Moor Gaylord is serving as the Management Co-Chair of the Committee and will also moderate a panel titled, "A Conversation with the National Labor Relations Board," which will include the board chairman and other members of the board, who will discuss significant NLRB decisions and initiatives from 2021. In addition, Sul Kim will speak on a panel titled, "'Book ‘em, Danno!': Seeking Full Remedies for Unlawful Conduct." The panel will explore the General Counsel’s recent direction to the Regions to seek "a full panoply of remedies available to ensure that victims of unlawful conduct are made whole for losses suffered as a result of unfair labor practices."

The ABA Committee on the Development of the Law Under the National Labor Relations Act 2022 Midwinter Meeting will feature additional presentations by panelists representing management, union, employee, government and neutral perspectives on hot topics and cutting-edge issues in the field of wage and hour law.
