Peter Salomon, chair of the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice, along with Leanne Reagan and Beth Alcalde, office managing partner of Akerman’s Palm Beach County, Fla., offices, co-authored a Law360 article titled, “Employers Must Note Major Tax Law Changes for 2018.” Written with the assistance of Angelica Fortney, the authors discussed how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed by Congress at the end of 2017 changes executive compensation arrangements and employee benefits, including best practices for employers for fiscal 2018.
