Akerman has earned a place on Construction Executive magazine's "Top 50 Construction Law Firms" list for the fifth consecutive year, ranking 11th nationally among hundreds of U.S. law firms surveyed. The recognition underscores the continued strength and reach of the firm's construction practice.
Construction Practice Co-Chairs John M. Neary and Stacy Bercun Bohm attributed the sustained recognition to the practice's continued growth and its deep commitment to client service.
"Our entire team appreciates the recognition from Construction Executive for the fifth consecutive year," said John. "Whether we are negotiating complex contracts, managing risk on large-scale projects, or resolving high-stakes disputes, our focus is on delivering strategic counsel grounded in commercial awareness that makes a real difference for our clients."
"Our clients trust us with their most important construction projects, and that trust drives everything we do as a practice," said Stacy. "We are committed to growing our national platform and ensuring our clients have the industry insight and legal guidance they need to succeed."
Construction Executive, one of the industry's leading business magazines, compiled its ranking from survey data submitted by U.S. law firms with dedicated construction practices. The evaluation considered factors including revenues generated by the construction practice, its share of overall firm revenues, attorney headcount, licensing footprint, the practice's founding year, and the volume of construction clients served. A proprietary algorithm weighted each factor in descending order of importance to determine the final standings.
