Law360 published an article by Litigation partner Bruce Stanfill discussing the intricacies of Biden's Climate Change Pledge. Earlier this year, Biden rejoined the Paris Agreement. The Paris Agreement establishes a goal of holding the increase in the global average temperatures to well below two degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels and pursuing efforts to limit the overall temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Given the substantial amount of money needed to fund this goal, it is expected that Biden will face many complications throughout this process.
