Akerman represented Pacific Shoring Products, LLC, in its acquisition of Prospan Shoring, a recognized leader in aluminum pneumatic vertical shoring and vehicle stabilization products. The transaction included the purchase of all associated patents and trademarks.

The Akerman team was led by Paul Quinn, M&A and Private Equity Practice Co-Chair. He was joined by a cross-disciplinary team that included Corporate Associate Jim Deiotte, Tax Associate Chelsy Lutz, Labor and Employment Partner Scott Silverman, and Intellectual Property Partner Peter Chiabotti.

Prospan, based in Bensenville, Illinois, has been a pioneer in the trench safety industry since 1984. The acquisition expands Pacific Shoring’s safety product portfolio and reinforces its commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for the trench and rescue safety industries.
