Chelsy is an associate in the Tax Practice Group. Chelsy focuses her practice on a broad range of federal, state, and international tax matters.

As part of her practice, Chelsy routinely advises corporations, partnerships, and individuals on tax-efficient corporate and partnership structures for all types of U.S. and cross-border transactions, including private equity, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, restructurings, and corporate finance matters.

Prior to joining Akerman, Chelsy worked at one of the nation’s largest accounting firms as a member of the International Tax and Transfer Pricing group, where she provided strategic planning and compliance related to inbound and outbound transactions to Fortune 500 clients.
