Chelsy is an associate in the Tax Practice Group. Chelsy focuses her practice on a broad range of federal, state, and international tax matters.

As part of her practice, Chelsy routinely advises private equity firms, corporations, partnerships, and individuals on tax-efficient structures for all types of U.S. and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, restructurings, and corporate finance matters.

Prior to joining Akerman, Chelsy worked at one of the nation’s largest accounting firms as a member of the International Tax and Transfer Pricing group, where she provided strategic planning and compliance related to inbound and outbound transactions to Fortune 500 clients.
