Felipe Berer and Michael Marsh were selected by corporate counsel as the recipients of Lexology's 2016 Client Choice Awards. Berer was the only lawyer awarded in the international trade category for Florida. Marsh was the exclusive state winner in the litigation category.

The awards annually recognize a select number of partners worldwide, who stand apart for their superior client service. The criteria for the awards focus on the ability to add real value to clients' business above and beyond other players in the market. Winners are selected based on surveys of senior corporate counsel and client feedback.

Berer concentrates his practice on legal, trade and regulatory matters pertaining to inbound Brazilian investment in the United States, outbound U.S. investment into Brazil, international trade law and policy in the United States and Brazil, international contracts, trade and anti-corruption compliance, and government affairs in Brazil. He is past president of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, and he consecutively ranked by Chambers Global for International Trade/WTO in the United States and Brazil.

Marsh's national business litigation practice concentrates on high stakes securities and other class action defense, proxy contests, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, D&O liability, shareholder disputes, RICO, money laundering, and sports and entertainment. He routinely assists clients with corporate governance and compliance issues, including matters arising from federal and state agencies investigations. He also has tried complex jury and non-jury lawsuits and has litigated before various federal and state courts nationally. Marsh is consistently listed by Benchmark Litigation as a Florida local litigation star for Securities and General Commercial Litigation.

The partners were honored at a gala dinner in London on Feb. 16.
