Practicing for over 30 years in intellectual property, Marc focuses his practice on intellectual property licensing and franchising, including the drafting, negotiation, and enforcement of license and franchise documents and agreements, as well as the implementation of branding and commercialization objectives for clients through licensing and franchising. He regularly counsels clients on creating effective strategies for procuring, protecting, and enforcing their global intellectual property assets, serving clients across industries including retail and consumer goods, fashion and apparel, food and beverage, and commercial and industrial design. He also has experience resolving intellectual property disputes through arbitration and mediation.
Georges focuses his practice on the litigation and counseling of trademark, copyright, and Internet matters in the United States and internationally. With more than 30 years of experience as a commercial litigator focused exclusively on intellectual property matters, he has successfully litigated a wide range of trademark and copyright disputes in U.S. federal and state courts, before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in arbitrations, as well as through cross-border proceedings working with local counsel worldwide. He also advises clients on online brand enforcement programs, domain name strategies, and global trademark protection.
