With 30 years of experience as a commercial litigator focused exclusively on intellectual property matters, Georges has successfully litigated as lead counsel, both on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, a wide array of trademark and copyright disputes, in U.S. federal and state courts, in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in arbitrations. In addition, working through local counsel, he has successfully represented clients in international trademark and copyright disputes in numerous jurisdictions around the world.
Georges also has handled hundreds of Internet related disputes in courts and under the UDRP and other national dispute resolution policies to recover domain names on behalf of major corporations and celebrities. He also advises and counsels clients on online enforcement programs, domain name registration programs, and U.S. and worldwide strategies for brand enforcement.
