The publication's Women of Influence 25th anniversary special edition highlighted rising stars predicted to be commercial real estate's biggest influencers, noting George as the youngest woman to serve as an office managing partner at Akerman.

Chicago Office Managing Partner Meg George has experience with real estate and municipal law matters including the acquisition, sale, and development of real estate, land use and zoning, licensing, permitting, subdivision, and other real estate matters. Most recently, she worked on the $1 billion redevelopment of Chicago's Union Station and handled some of the area's largest zoning projects.
