Law360 recently turned to Akerman Labor and Employment Partner Mishell Parreno Taylor for her insights on an upcoming California Supreme Court decision that could challenge a U.S. Supreme Court decision that sent a worker's wage and hour claims to arbitration. In the recent article Parreno Taylor discussed the impact that both the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Viking River Cruises Inc. v. Moriana and the state high court's pending decision in Adolph v. Uber Technologies Inc. will have on workers' wage and hour claims filed under California's Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).

"I think at this point, everyone is waiting to see what will the California court say in Adolph regarding the representative piece and how does that impact litigation going forward," she said.
