Litigation Partner Tammy L. Mercer has been named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF), one of the legal profession's most selective honorary societies, comprising attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars. Membership is by invitation only and is extended to no more than 1% of licensed attorneys, with selection based on peer nomination and a demonstrated record of exceptional professional achievement and service to the community.

Founded in 1952, the ABF is an independent nonprofit research institute that advances the understanding of law and its role in society through nonpartisan, empirical scholarship. Fellows play an active role in advancing that mission, fostering connections across the legal community and helping to broaden the reach and impact of the ABF's work.

Tammy concentrates her practice in the Delaware Court of Chancery and Delaware Superior Court, bringing nearly 20 years of experience advising boards of directors and private equity clients on complex corporate governance matters. She handles high-stakes disputes involving mergers and acquisitions, going-private transactions, proxy contests, valuation and appraisal issues, and directors' and officers' liability. Tammy also regularly counsels and litigates on behalf of clients involving alternative entities, including master limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and partnerships, particularly in governance disputes.

Tammy is also a Fellow of the American College of Governance Counsel and is ranked by Chambers USA in Delaware for Chancery. She has been listed by Lawdragon as one of the 500 Leading Litigators in America and is recognized by Best Lawyers in Delaware for Corporate Governance Law and Corporate Law.
